Elijah and the Prophets of Baal: Dr. Damina has controversially asserted that in the biblical account of Elijah on Mount Carmel, it was Satan, not God, who sent down fire in response to Elijah’s prayer. This interpretation challenges the traditional view that attributes the miracle directly to God.
2. Adam and Eve’s Transgression: In a New Year message delivered in January 2025, Dr. Damina questioned the conventional belief that Adam and Eve’s sin in the Garden of Eden was due to eating a forbidden fruit. He emphasized that their disobedience was not about the act of eating itself, suggesting a deeper, perhaps symbolic, interpretation of the narrative.
3. Old Testament Figures and Christianity: Dr. Damina has pointed out that many revered figures from the Old Testament, such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and David, were not Christians, as Christianity emerged much later.
