YOU HAVE AUTHORITY IN THE NAME(9)
The believer is one that has believed in the name of Jesus.Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Vs 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Vs 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;The name speaks of the authority that comes by believing. The fact that you are baptized in Christ and saved is in the name.
Romans 10:13,
Acts 4:12,
John 20:31,
John 1:12.
Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
The authority Jesus had in the four gospels was because he was anointed of the spirit.
Acts 10:38,
Luke 4:18 That was the authority he could give to them. He couldn’t function beyond the anointing of the spirit upon his life.1st John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
This wasn’t the four gospels. He was manifested when he rose from the dead. He didn’t destroy sin when he was on earth but when he rose from the dead.In the four gospels, he was casting out demons but didn’t destroy the works of the devil until he rose.
He gave to the church all he did from cross to the throne.Mk 16:15- 20.The authority he gave to the church is greater than the authority he gave to his disciples. It is the authority of his finished work, what he has accomplished for us. Hence, we are saved in his name.
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.The intercessory work of Christ is carried out in that propitiation.

Hebrews 7:24- 25.The word “Guarantor refers to one who ensures nothing goes wrong.
Hebrews 10:12-14
John is saying if any man sins, let him know he is perfected forever. Sin cannot affect your relationship with God cos Jesus is seated.
Salvation is an eternal concept because Jesus is seated forever.
Hence, in the name of Jesus, we are eternally saved.
